Our PRP Program

We have a FedEx ground program that I send you a pre-paid label and we ask for a donation of 10.00 to help cover a portion of the shipping charge from you to me. Yes, they pick up at your home at your convienence or you can leave it on your front porch and they will pick it up.

The 10.00 doesn't cover the entire cost we incur, but our auctions, raffles, other sales, private donations, goodsearch, Igive, searchandgive and other programs help pay our bills.

I send you the label you fill it out, place it on your box, call the 1-800 number to schedule a pick up at your home and they send it to me.

Your box must weigh at least 12-15 pounds to make it cost effective to use the program. The heavier it is the more cost effective. There is no time limit to use the label.

We started this program for those who can't afford their shipping, for those who are shut in and can't get out.

If you need a label, email me at: oangels2000@verizon.net

You can paypal the 10.00 to: oafunds@verizon.net or you can snail mail it to:

Online Angels

Mary Reinhart

36 Pine Drive

Pottsville, PA 17901

or you can place it in an envelope in your box when you are ready to ship the box.

Since, the 10.00 is a donation we ask for to help us keep the program, your 10.00 is tax deductible.

We ask that you help us keep this program available to help those who need their boxes shipped. It is a wonderful program and we hope to be able to utilize it for a long time:)

thank you for supporting our PRP program!!!!!!!!!!!

Craft-a-thon News

Our 2nd Craft-a-thon was a huge success, as our volunteers

and other donors came together to help craft for charity.

We were able to raise $269.00, thru auction, raffles,

and donations, to help us with our FedEx bills,

and supplies.

We made baby hats, squares, blankets, diaper shirts,

crosses, and scarves.

We would like to thank all our volunteers who could

not make it to the event, but sent in crafts, and items to

raffle off & bought raffle tickets.

They were with us in spirit crafting from their homes:)

Recipes

A good friend of mine sent me this recipe. It's wonderful!
Applesauce Cookies
Recipe from Barb Vaught

3/4 cup soft butter

1 cup packed light brown sugar

1 egg

1/2 cup plain applesauce

2 1/4 cups flour

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon ground cloves

1 cup seedless raisins

1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts

Preheat over to 375. In a medium-size bowl, mix shortening, sugar and egg thoroughly. Stir in applesauce. Combine dry ingredients and blend into shortening mixture. Mix in raisins and walnuts. Drop batter by spoonfuls on a lightly greased cookie sheet. Sprinkle an even layer of cinnamon sugar on top of each cookie before baking. Bake for 10-12 minutes.

I put my batter into the refrigerator for about 1-2 hours just so it was easier to handle. This is my husbands favorite cookie now and I have to hide them from him or they would be gone the first day. I store them in covered containers and it seems they get better each day, really moist!

Hope you will give them a try and like them as much as we do.
